Heavy Duty Mechanic

Biggar SK | Full Time

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. This position is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of heavy-duty trucks, agricultural equipment, trailers, and related machinery. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently and within a team environment, and is committed to minimizing downtime through efficient and proactive maintenance practices.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
  • Experience working on agricultural equipment, heavy trucks, trailers, or construction equipment considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and safety inspection procedures
  • Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations and safe shop practices
  • Computer literacy and experience with electronic work order systems considered an asset

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driver’s license; Class 1A or willingness to obtain considered an asset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy components and perform physically demanding work
  • Willingness to work overtime and participate in seasonal peak-hour demands when required
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Safety-focused attitude with a commitment to maintaining a positive workplace culture
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing and provide references upon request

Class 1A Drivers/Operators

Biggar SK and Broderick SK | Full Time

Reporting to the Custom Application Manager, the floater/sprayer operator is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient application of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides to agricultural fields, using state-of-the-art floaters, sprayers and tender trucks. This role is a key piece of our Custom Application Division, ensuring timely and accurate product delivery to meet customer needs while maintaining regulatory and operational safety standards.

    1A Fuel Driver

    Naicam/Jansen SK | Saskatoon SK | Full Time

    Closing Date: July 11, 2026

    This position is responsible for the delivery of exceptional customer experience through building strong relationships. Duties include the efficient delivery to our commercial customers, on farm agriculture customers and our bulk plant facilities.  The Driver will ensure the adherence to all administrative requirements including driver reports, load and unload records as well as other business-related paperwork required by The Rack.  The Driver must complete all safety requirements in the operation, delivery and maintenance of the equipment and fuel assets including cardlock facilities.  Flexibility in hours during busy seasons is required including evenings and weekends. 

    Position Responsibilities – responsible for the efficient delivery of:

    • Products
    • Customer service
    • Maintenance
    • Administration
    • Safety 
    • Brand Image
    • Environmental reporting
    • Other duties as required

    Required Skills and Knowledge:

    • Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
    • Ability to work varying shifts
    • Detail oriented and ability to keep accurate records
    • Class 1 drivers license to operate and drive a tractor tanker
    • Must live in or near one of the communities listed above

    Experience and Education:

    • Class 1 A
    • Driver’s Abstract with clean driving record
    • Knowledge of Farm/Oil Field operations
    • Previous experience working in a fuel operation would be an asset             

    1A Fuel Driver
